It’s no secret that we are huge fans of high street/supermarket home brands over here on In Two Homes. In the past couple of years, these companies have really stepped up their design game to bring us well made, stylish and (most importantly) affordable interiors.
George Home has been one of those at the very front of changing the way supermarket interiors are being regarded. For some time now it has been a firm favourite of ours and so we were both delighted when we were invited to check out what George Home has in store for Autumn/Winter 2018.
The AW18 collection is formed of six trends that I feel cater to anyone and everyone – better still, I found something from everything single collection that I would buy! We’re going to give you a rundown of all six and give you a peek at some of the amazing items that will be hitting stores and online in the autumn.
Wanderer
Wanderer is all about exploring and escaping – using colours, textures and patterns to bring together a mix of cultures and worldly beauty. The range uses a lot of warming reds and mustards, keeping it stylish and fresh by adding pom poms, slogans and the sweetest little alpaca!
Retreat
Retreat is building on the popularity of exploring, enjoying nature and the desire to bring the outside in by using beautiful floral patterns and including lots of animals in the collection. It complements these by using warm, earth tones and plenty of vases to bring greenery into the home! Keep an eye out for the copper floor lamp – an absolute steal for the price and sure to sell out fast.
Pop
The name is self explanatory with this one. Using the inspiration of street art to brighten the home, Pop uses vibrancy and bold patterns to make brightening up your home a breeze.
Opulence
A huge focus on Japanese design and style is found in the collection Opulence. Traditional animals and plants are used to bring this theme alive and the colours really compliment each other!
Cosmic
Intergalactic worlds are meshed with the fantasy of unicorns in this bold and brave collection. The neon signs are very on trend and are so affordable against what is currently available out on the market.
Harmony
There is absolutely nothing not to love about the Harmony collection – minimalistic with hues of grey, pink, blues, marble and copper. It’s so on trend and so affordable that anyone can finally have that clean and contemporary look in their home. Every single piece is well thought out and complements each other so nicely. I have honestly made a list of everything I want in this collection (starting with that desk shelving and the concrete A-Z bookends!
I hope you have enjoyed having a look at what George Home has to offer for the coming Autumn/Winter 18. Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments. The collection will be available online at George.com and in Asda stores from Autumn. Hope you are all as excited as we are!
Until next time…
