I am sure I am not alone in saying that August was a serious disappointment in the weather department. I am currently unemployed waiting to start my new job so was planning on having the best summer. Instead, I have been stuck inside watching the rain. Regardless, the end of August not only means that autumn is approaching (yay!) but it also means that it is time for another homeware favourites post! I really enjoyed putting together my previous July favourites post and am not ashamed to admit that I spent far too much of my free time scanning websites and stores to be able to share new things with you each month! So, here they are, my August favourites that have made their way onto my personal home wishlist…
If you are a regular reading of In Two Homes then it probably comes as no surprise to you that something green and botanical is included in the post, so let’s get that out of the way first. If this is not the perfect laundry bag then I just don’t know what to tell you other than you’re wrong. I joke, obviously, but I was really taken by this item and especially as it is only £6!!
I cannot tell you how in love with this tasselled storage bucket and it was SO hard to pick the right colour. They have a lot of variations on the tassel colour and sizings meaning you can definitely find one that would suit your needs. I’ve seen this style in a couple of Instagram posts and they just look so wonderful and are really eye catching. I’m not even too sure what I would store in one but I just know I need one!
Just. So. Cute! This is also from Amara which is quickly becoming one of my favourite websites to waste an hour or two. With it being such a classic design for a bedside alarm clock and the different colour options available it’s a great way to add a bit of extra style to a bedside table.
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I love when a brand surprises me. Maybe it is just me but I would have never thought to look at Argos for home decor but these two pieces really changed my mind! Very simple, on trend pieces that are super affordable. The cushions are even two for £15 so even better!
I’ve been looking for a biggish light fixture for over my dining room table and this one grabbed my attention. I already am trying to add some more copper accents into the kitchen and this would be the perfect way to tie the area together! I love the textured inside too! This lamp is also very lovely and would go pretty much anywhere you needed it too!
One day I will write a blog post that doesn’t feature a product from Oliver Bonas, today is not that day. These beauties are not currently available but should be being released by the end of August so keep an eye out!
Until next time…
