Oh guys, are you ready to hear about my newbie blogger error that I have made this Christmas? I have a gift guide ready for you three days (!!) before Christmas. I realise this is not how it is done in the blogging world and can only apologise. Working shifts like I do means that sometimes things can creep up on me and I didn’t realise how close we are to the big day. I hope you don’t mind but I thought I would share this post regardless as I feel like a gift guide is helpful all year round, especially for those dreaded January birthdays! So please forgive the Christmas decor or maybe some of you can add some to your 2018 wishlist!
Personalisation isn’t for everyone, you either like it or you don’t. I am firmly in the like camp and think it can take an already lovely gift to a really special gift. All of the following items are from Not On The High Street which I am sure 99% of you have heard of. If you haven’t go spend a minute (or a few hours) browsing the website. The have an amazing and extensive range of items such as gifts, home, jewellery and wedding from both big and small brands. Personalisation is a bit of a speciality for them and so it is my go to when I’m looking for something really unique. Here I have collected some of my favourite personalised Christmas decor and some lovely personalised gifts for the special people in your life!
Personalised Christmas Decor
I think this is such a lovely touch to have in a home at Christmas time and something that would stay special year after year. This would also make a lovely gift! I’ve actually watched someone engrave wood like this with a burning tool and after having a go myself I can confirm that it is super hard!
How. Adorable. Is. This. I love getting special baubles for the tree. We only brought our tree and decorations last year so now we try and get a decoration each year to add to it slowly but surely. One day we can look back and hopefully be reminded about all the years building the collection.
Now I would be lying if I said that I haven’t seen pet versions of these and didn’t consider buying one for my dog this year. For all of you out there with human babies I think this is a lovely thing to have for the season. At such a reasonable price this would be something that could really last year after year!
Now it would be misleading of me to tell you that I put this much effort into wrapping. I tend to leave mine to the last minute and it ends up being very basic. However I know for some, wrapping takes on a whole new level at Christmas with bows, accessories and themes! I thought these would really add the that in a very unique way.
These lovely cards are such a lovely design that I just had to add them in. So nice to buy in bulk to give to family and friends or to buy personalised to the recipient!
So I don’t know about you but we had some pretty strong Christmas Eve’s traditions growing up. We would all get to open one present each then we would put on our Christmas pyjamas and watch A Muppet’s Christmas Carol. I’ve also seen people with small children give them pyjamas and a Christmas DVD for their Christmas Eve present and what would be a better way to repeat that tradition every year than by packing them in a personalised box?!
Personalised Christmas Gifts
I personally would be super happy to receive this as a house warming present as I like the style, it comes in lots of colours and I think it’s really thoughtful!
This type of jewellery always tend to catch my eye but I find that some of the personalised ones can be a bit ‘in your face’ and tends to ruin it. However I think this one is just subtle enough to pull it off and would make a really lovely gift that someone could keep forever!
I can’t think of anyone that wouldn’t be delighted to recieve this. I haven’t had to buy too many engagement presents (yet) but have always thought it would be a bit of a struggle so finding this has put me at ease!
For a smaller gift these notebooks are perfect for the stationary lovers in your life. I really like the design and think it makes it just that little bit more special.
I’m sure I am not alone when I say that buying the men in your life gifts is difficult (father’s I am looking at you). This would make a lovely gift for any occasion but I also thought that it would make a great gift for a groom by adding the wedding date or for the groomsmen!
This is one of those pieces that people wouldn’t even realise until they took a good look that it was personalised. In fact, this piece would make it’s way to some sort of wish list without the personalisation addition. Copper and oak are just a match made in heaven!
I have always wanted something like this for my house after seeing them in Oliver Bonas. These are such good value for money and would add a nice little touch to an entry way!
Until next time…
